Earlier this month Phaidon released Kate, a collection of 50 portraits (see an exclusive image from the book above) of Moss taken by Mario Sorrenti during that period. The shoot’s sensuality and authenticity became a touchstone for the era, heralding a new infatuation with unadulterated simplicity, for which Moss was undoubtedly the definitive muse. Its a celebration of Kates amazing career, and features eight different covers shot by the top flight of fashion photographers, from the late Corinne Day to Mert & Marcus, showing Kate in every incarnation, from freckle-faced teenager to the icon.
